Canteen

Bolwarra Primary School canteen is operated solely by dedicated volunteers. It not only provides a wonderful service to parents and students through the provision of a range of healthy food options for lunch and snacks, it also raises about $10,000 every year which is donated to the school. These funds are used directly for the benefit of all students at the school, through the provision of items such as smart boards, sporting equipment, adventure playground structures and many more items that are not covered by government funding.

To support this valuable service through baking Anzac Biscuits (or other approved food), volunteering for a canteen shift or two each term, or taking on one of the canteen coordination roles please contact the canteen coordinator.

Online Ordering now available!

Currently, the canteen is open for Lunch 1 & 2 on Fri only. This are the only LUNCH ORDER day at present. 2-3 volunteers are required from 8:45-2:15pm on Fridays. Shifts can be 1-2hrs or more, depending on your availability. Jobs on these days include taking orders over the counter, making sandwiches and preparing food and then selling snacks and ice blocks during the lunch hour.

Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, the canteen is only open between 1-2pm to sell snacks to supplement lunch brought from home. This is a 2hr shift between 12-2pm and includes making pikelets (if you want to) and selling snacks during the lunch hour.

An online canteen service, which allows parents to order lunches up to a month in advance (or up until 8.45am on the day) and pay online via debit or credit card, is now available. This fantastic service eliminates the need to find change and wait in the queue on a lunch order day.
